We were all winners at Tango Café Sunday night, February 6, which just goes to show you that you don’t need a large screen TV or a large crowd to have a good time, especially if guitars are involved! Tango has a renewed, expanded menu and gracious service. You can now get a variety of wraps, salads and delicious chili as well as a variety of beverages to wash down your supper. All of this is displayed on new menu boards behind the counter, and Samantha assured me that they actually have all the items listed!

But, to get back to the Guitar Club, we were a small gathering of enthusiasts of diverse backgrounds including founding members as well as newcomers. Since we were few in number, we played in an actual round robin fashion just like the good old days at Bernie Lehmann’s shop. We listened to a variety of tunes from medieval to modern pop songs on nylon and steel, finger style and flat picked. Here’s the play list:
