♫ You heard right! RGC is now offering membership cards. This is not obligatory, but we think it might be a win/win idea. For some time now the planning group has thought about the pluses and minuses of the club’s informal nature, and after some debate have decided to offer membership cards and some perks to go along with them. The price for a year-long membership is set at $15. For this, you get a free RGC T-shirt, (or not if you prefer) and discounts on ticket prices for RGC concerts. RGC isn’t in this to make money, but it is helpful to build a financial base with which to meet the operational costs we encounter in concert promotion and other occasional expenses. T-Shirts and memberships help spread the word. So, please consider purchasing your membership at the next meeting or concert event!

♫ Up to now there have been no dues required to join the club. Pretty much all you had to do to be a member was get your name on our e-mail list. This new $15 membership is purely voluntary, though it does offer a few perks. Newsletters and concert notices will be sent out as before to all on the general list. We will continue to pass the hat at meetings, especially when there is a presentation. And the club meetings will remain open, as they have been all along to anyone with an interest. The membership option is now there for those who wish to show a little more support and maybe get a bit more involved.

Cheers!
