Perhaps for the first time, we heard more nylon than steel Monday evening as Rochester Guitar Club members and followers entertained one another with lively solos and duets as well as spirited conversation.

Three Dan’s were present, including Dan Hulett, a first time player, Dan Feuerstein, a long-time Core member, and Dan Gordon who introduced us to an 1894 song, “I Don’t Want to Play in Your Yard.” He plans to bring copies of the piece next time so we can try our hand at group playing at a future meeting.

The May 19 meeting will feature a presentation by Mark Evangelos  on “Guitar Slide Tricks of the Old Blues Masters in Open & Standard Tunings.”
