Bernie Lehmann brought a guitar he just finished making. It’s a replica of a 1789 Renault & Chatelain and represents a transitional instrument made in between the Baroque and Romantic eras. The original is in the Musée de la Musique in Paris, France. The body is maple, the fingerboard is 150-year-old mahogany, and the top is Sitka spruce. See photos.
