RGC Round Robin Meeting Play List for August 19, 2019

This was a well attended meeting - 13 people with 10 offering a tune or two. We had one new member (Roy Berns), and three people renewed their membership. Lots of good music and conversation. Steve Greene offered an opinion that the Fishman Solo Amp we provide was not needed in a quiet room like the Red Room. This opened an interesting topic as to why we bring it (electric players, desiring to tailor the guitar sound, picking up percussive notes, not just about volume) Steve of course is coming from the point of nuances of play lost to compression and players relying upon electronics instead of building their own chops. The meeting went the full two hours - it was hot and so was the music!
