This evening’s round robin began with a show-n-tell by member, Jim Hill. Jim enjoys constructing and experimenting with classical style guitars. His latest project was a finely made instrument with three sound holes, two smaller ones on the body near the neck and a third on the side facing the player as is often done these days. Placing an object or hand in either of the two holes on the body produced some interesting resonant effects. Jim is exploring the possibility of controlling the third hole to produce additional novel effects.
